For future listings: follow these guidelines. there will be no fee if your listing follows our guidelines. If you want to include more than the basic information there is a fee. Call for pricing. Listings are due:: June 12 for Jul/Aug; Aug 12 for Sep/Oct; Oct 12 for Nov/Dec; Dec 12 for Jan/Feb; Feb 12 for Mar/Apr; Apr 12 for May/Jun.

ONLINE LISTINGS: Calendar and Opportunity listings arriving past our deadline for the print issue can be listed for a month online at a $25 service fee and will include a hotlink.

For Free listings provide only the following necessary information (see example below): (Do not reply on this sample form).

CALENDAR SUBMISSION RESTRICTIONS and DEADLINES:
                       • Send information in the body opf the email, not as an attachment
                       •  DO NOT attach files such as press release, photos, biographies, etc.
                       •  Submit listing information by the 12th of the month PRIOR TO the publication month. Aug 12th for Sept/Oct issue; Oct 12 for the Nov/Dec issue; Dec 12 for the Jan/Feb issue; Feb 12 for the Mar/Apr issue; Apr 12 for the May/Jun issue and Jun 12 for the Jul/Aug issue. 

                      Listings can be sent several months in advance.

NOT CONSIDERED for FREE LISTINGS (but certainly for advertising):  Classes / Workshops / Lectures / Films / Demos/ Children’s events / Calendar events outside of Northeast / Duplicate submissions


OPPORTUNITIES submitted by organizations and institutions throughout U.S. offer grants, auditions, and competitions.  Basic listings run free for 2 months; PAID LISTINGS include as much information as requested and are available for a minimum charge that includes a hotlink.

Provide only the following necessary information and include in the body of an email not as an attachment:

  1. “Call to” description (e.g. Artists, Photographers, Actors, etc.)
  2. Organization contact info: organization name, mailing address, phone, email, Website
  3. Opportunity description, including event date; (e.g., Seeks entries for Open Competition, “Anything Goes” Jan 24-Feb 16, ‘10)
  4. SASE information and address
  5. Submission deadline
